WHEN YOU TRY TO GERRY-RIG, REPAIR, OR COMBINE ITEMS roll 2d6 - the number of items included in the process, + the number of tools that you have on hand to aid in the process.
- On a 7+, you successfully do it, but you must pick 2 from the list below. Additionally, the GM picks 1.
- On a 10+, you only have to pick 1.
- On a 12+, pick none instead.
- On a 6-, you’ve seriously messed this up. Your materials were ruined in the attempt, and something else that’s bad happens.
Pick List:
◦ One of your tools is damaged in the process, you’ll need to repair or replace it before you can use it again. ◦ The product of the process is unstable at best: it’ll only last for one use. ◦ The construction of the new object is shoddy, take - 1 to all rolls involving the use of it. ◦ You hurt yourself in the process, take some harm/damage/an injury. ◦ The process takes MUCH longer than expected.
